I make signs that would be perfect for you. For the sign I would make it from 1/8" steel and I would cut any words(any font) or logos out. I have a solution here that will rust the metal and then I will clear coat it. This will give it a very rich dark rust color. I usual tip the out side perimeter in white, to really make it POP, we could use other colors too. I would then put 1" or so stand off to hold the logo on a backing made from 1/2" to 3" random strips of reclaimed barn wood and hard wood. This will give you a nice rustic look.
