Rustic / Reclaimed Antique Wood Furniture

This table is created from salvaged old - growth 2 x 4s which have been taken from carefully dismantled buildings throughout Chicago.

The timbers average in age from 50 to over 150 years old, and retain a very unique, rough, millsawn surface.

We do our best to retain the character of the material throughout the building process. Nail holes, knot holes, dings and dents from hammers, cuts from saws, and other defects are par for the course. As a result, each table retains its own unique character and some variation from table to table is to be expected.

We can adjust the size, design and shape to fit any space, style, and need. This style looks great as a coffee table, console (pictured), end tables, sideboard, pedestal, kitchen table, shelving, and more.

Each is heavily lacquered with a semi - gloss finish to both preserve the wood and protect the user from catching any errant splinters from the rough surface.

Options available include a more smooth, sanded surface, steel legs and bases, and more. Custom requests happily accepted!
