Saarinen Dining Table With Fluted Chairs
Designed by Eliel Saarinen in 1929 and built by the only manufacturer in the U.S. authorized by the Cranbrook Academy of Art Museum and the Saarinen Family to reproduce Saarinen designs. Table top made of satin wood, ebony, maple, limba and ramin veneers; pedestal is sculpted maple with black lacquer; and base is satin wood veneer with black lacquer. Chairs are sculpted solid hard maple with black lacquer stripes and legs; seat is upholstered COM-HR foam and Dacron over flexible webbing.
