Salvaged Black Walnut Industrial Coffee Table
This extremely durable industrial coffee table is made from salvaged black walnut from an urban tree removal project. The walnut has an exceptional color and grain pattern and some bright white maple butterfly joints that provide a nice contrast and visual interest. The base is made from dark hot rolled steel, with sanded welds, and is finished with a matte industrial grade powder-coat.
The non-toxic, health-counscious finish on the top is resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water etc. according to German Industrial DIN 68861 - 1C and complies EURO-NORM EN 71 (suitable for children's toys). This finish makes product care simple and easy. In most cases all that's needed is an occasional wipe-down with a soft cloth dampened with water.
