Chest is made from Sapele, a wood with a rich dark grain pattern, making it an excellent choice for something of this size. Dimensions of the chest are 43" X 17" X 19", the floor of the chest is made using reclaimed cedar that will help keep your items fresh. The lid is attached using friction hinges that hold the weight of the lid to prevent fast closing and pinched fingers. The chest is finished using a Danish oil finish, giving the wood a nice satin sheen followed by a hand applied furniture wax for a little extra protection.

This chest is sized just right for the end of a bed, can be used as a coffee table or just placed on its own.
