Sara's Gift Box
This box was made for Sara's wedding day so guests at her reception will have a place to put congratulation cards.
The outside dimensions are 16"D x 12"D x 7"H and the inside dimensions of the box are 13"W x 8 1/2"D x 5"H. It can also be fabricated with a pull out tray for jewelry.
The wood species is shown in this piece are maple for the body of the top and the box, with a mahogany base, border for on the cover and inlaid on the bears ears dovetail'
The hardware is all solid brass, a piano hinge and a full mortise lock. It is finished with three coats of hand rubbed tung oil
