Sculpted Table Base In Beech To Complement Ken's Chairs
Ken sent me a table leg that turned out to be American beech. We settled on European beech, as that's what we get in San Diego.
This base is an extended and sculpted version of my basic Teepee table base. I have had many requests for a base that handles larger diameter tabletops. This top is 51 inches in diameter. The base is built from 8/4 beech, 1 and 3/4 inch thick. It is stained with Minwax natural and Golden Oak and finished in Watco Golden Oak Danish Oil and Satin Wax.
Truly this table looks great, especially surrounded by the fabulous chairs Ken refurbished.
