Sea Captains Tansu Desk
This is my version of a 1800 Japanese tansu sea captain desk I saw in a book on Tansu. Solid sassafras wood case,with sycamore drawers, walnut base. Finished with shellac. Could be made from just about any wood of your choice . Would make a wonderful bed side table or side table.
