This art series was inspired by several trips to Carpenteria and Crystal Cove on the California coast. Tide pools there are rich with giant green sea anemones, orange sea stars and mussels. The coastline wildlife includes brown pelicans, and sea turtles farther south at Long Beach and Mexico.
