"Seascape 2"
After viewing my portfolio and seeing the wall shelf with drawers titled "Seascape" the client contacted me to see if I could custom make a similar unit with particular dimensions to hold a cherished model of a ship...critical was to be able to use the similar veneer as I had used on the original shelf, as it evoked images of a rolling sea.
As I had just enough of the beautiful spalted sycamore veneer on hand, we worked out the details, and "Seascape II" was born.
The shelf is designed to have minimal structure and is mounted to the wall using French cleats.
