Allan Parachini built me 2 custom alder kitchen tables of the exact right size & shape that I ordered (I could not find this in any stores). He finished the job ahead of schedule and charged a very reasonable & fair price. The work done was of high quality and the tables are stable and look beautiful. This is a secretary desk concept adapted to today's portable computer technology. It is canary wood, maple, red oak and walnut, with zebrawood, ebony and ipe highlights. The piece is intended for people who like the concept of a secretary desk that can be completely opened or closed up, but reside in places where there isn't room. This piece is a diminutive interpretation of the traditional secretary desk, and is a perfect size for laptops, netbooks or Ipods. In addition to two drawers and two cupboard spaces, it has 10 verttical sorting slots. The finish is tung oil, but the desktop writing surface is semi-gloss lacquer.
Dimensions: 65 inches high, 39 inches wide. It's 17 inches deep with the cabinet doors and writing surface folded and 31 inches deep with them extended.
