This ceramic/stoneware bowl is a perfect size for serving side dishes, making desserts such as strawberry shortcake delight, even banana pudding. Dishwasher safe (although I do suggest you handwash handmade items to keep them looking fabulous), microwave safe and foodsafe. The shape of this bowl is more than just a simple round design. The bowl begins as a slightly smaller base, rising up into a belly shaped body, and finishing off with a rim that is pushed outward. The bands of stain are applied both before and after main glazing colors to enhance the base colors and I have to say, I was more than excited when I opened the kiln to this lovely and totally unexpected burst of colors.

Made of stoneware it measures 7 1/2" wide by 5" tall.
