Shaker Linen Press

Shaker linen press, circa mid to late 1800's from Pleasant Hill, KY though original piece had solid doors, in cherry, using reproduction glass from Bendheim Glass. This glass has imperfections (waves, bubbles, etc.) to give the feel of an authentic antique.

A stunning piece made of solid cherry; this is the perfect piece to display your heirloom china. The doors are mortise and tenon and feature individual glass panes that are hand glazed. The doors are also carefully hung so the gap is consistent all the way around; and they swing freely on Horton Brass hinges. The solid wood drawer has hand-cut dovetails and a solid pine bottom. The turned legs are mortised into the apron ensuring a joint that will last and last. Topped off with a solid cherry crown molding, this is truly a stunning piece.
