Based on the Australian Didgeridoo (also called yiḏaki, mandapul, mako, etc.) I call this design Amaru. In Andean mythology the Amaru (or serpent) is a special being with healing powers that can move between the spiritual realms of the three worlds of the Andean Cosmovision - Ukupacha, Kaypacha, and Janajpacha. Just as the didgeridoo connects its player to the Dream-time, I hope by meditating with this instrument you may create a bridge to a time beyond time itself...
