This sculpture, made out of 'cultured stone' (which is a fancy way of saying cementious concrete) stands about 15.5 inches tall including the base. Both base and dancer are made out of concrete, It looks and feels like real stone. I love concrete or I should say cement, I used cement and added some different types of aggregate. It is a lovely, thoroughly modern sculpture, I used cement stain to get it the nice charcoal color. I prefer a bit of a satin finish but if you buff it it will become more shiny.
