Phil did an awesome researching what wood would work, finish, etc., explaining why it was necessary to use very low acid type of wood and finish. Rather than mounting an ancient ship's clock on the wall, a clock stand was created with simple, but elegant curves to display the clock on a mantle. Each clock stand is designed specifically for the clock that it will hold.
If the clock is more than 50 years old, clients will typically send us their clock to insure a proper fit.
