Bold… triangular… flexible… shiny… sparkly… silky! These earrings are made of tiny jumprings, each woven one at a time into a pattern known as European 4-in-1. Think of shirts of chainmaille worn by Knights of the Round Table – same weave, but totally re-done in micro size. Each of these asymmetrical earrings is made of hundreds of jumprings and finished off with a dozen small Austrian Swarovski briolettes across the angled bottom edge. Depending on the movement of your head, they'll hang flat, or draped – they're completely flexible and silky smooth against your skin.
These can be woven in any precious metal, up to and including 18K gold. As shown, they are approximately 4 3/8 inches long, made in silver-filled jumprings because they are a little lighter. The earrings weigh slightly more than ½ ozt each. In silver or gold-filled wire, items are about 10% lighter than silver, but I will be happy to make them in any metal you want and I can shorten or lengthen the basic design to suit your style. I've used leverback earwires (because they're more secure) but I can exchange those for French hooks or even ear clips, in some metals. There are many color choices for the crystals, as well.
The earrings pictured are available for immediate shipment, custom orders take approximately one week to complete.
Due to the volatility of the precious metals market, pricing for 18K gold can be done by request only.
Dimensions: Shown in silver-filled (about 10% lighter by weight than sterling) the earrings are 4 3/8" long from the top of the earwire (where it will rest in your ear) to the bottom of the farthest crystal. Each earring weighs slightly more that .5 troy ounce.
