This pendant was made from silver metal clay. "Aspire" was hand stamped into the clay while the clay was still wet. Hanging from the pendant are six 4mm square Swarovski crystals in a rainbow of colors.
The antiqued sterling silver chain measures 16 inches and is finished off with a tiny sterling silver swirl and lobster claw clasp.
What Is Metal Clay?
Metal clay is small particles of metal such as silver (also, bronze copper and gold metals) mixed with organic binder and water to form a clay medium. The clay can be formed into many shapes and sizes. It is then fired in a kiln where the organic binders and water burn off and the piece becomes metal.
