This handmade piece was commissioned with the directive that it should be an "anatomically correct skull guitar." Except for the skull carve and other appointments, this guitar is built close to the specs of a Les Paul, only baritone. The body is Limba wood, with a half inch Maple cap. The neck is Honduran Mahogany, and the finish is transparent black nitro lacquer over metal flake. The headstock inlay is figured white pearl, and was designed from the same skull picture that I used for the body relief carve. EMG pickups, Tone Pros bridge, Gotoh tuners and a touch of irony, the "Classic" Les Paul truss rod cover!
