This Sliding Barn Style door is perfect any of your standard size door openings. The door is constructed from solid wood; rough sawn pine to be exact and finished with a rich brown stain. The front side has a rough texture while the back of the door is smooth (this is done to dimension the lumber to a thickness around ¾"). The doors are designed to cover all of the trim (molding) surrounding your existing door. Meaning the barn door will be about 6" wider and 3" taller than your existing door. The typical height for these doors is around 82 1/2".
The door is shipped with a Dark Brown, Black track. And a wood mounting strip is also included; this pushes the door out past the trim surrounding your existing door. The wood mounting strip is leveled and installed first, and then you will mount the door track. I can provide further instruction to guide you through the installation process; but it normally takes 2 – 4 hours. There are three tracks to choose from please let us know which one you would like, please see pictures.
The door pull is also included, please see picture.
I do ask that you send measurements when you place your order to ensure the best possible fit. Please measure your existing door size and the measure from outside edge to outside edge of the trim. And please also measure from the floor to top of the trim.
