A Cabbagetown property with a modern sliding gate in Mahogany and Steel. The gate behaves as a pocket door, and slides back and forth, leaving the opening fully clear, there is no over head track. This allowed the gate to be massively heavy, not use up real estate to swing when it operated, and use the dramatic keystone shape as a focal point in the fence. Beautifully framed by corrugated steel for a privacy fence, and with an arched corrugated steel canopy, to protect the gate. Another example where 'modern' does not mean 'unapproachable', who knew that galvanized roofing could be so sensual, both visually, and to the touch.
Dimensions: about 24' long 7' high (fence) (6.1mx 2.1m)
