This was the first time I used CustomMade, and I was very pleased with the results of my project. I had a pair of broken slumped glass lampshades that I wanted to recreate. David provided a detailed description of the process he would use to create new lampshades for me and an approximate timeframe. He communicated with me each step of the way and provided pictures of how my lampshades were progressing. When he hit a snag, he let me know how he was going to address it, always communicating along the way. The result was a beautiful pair of lampshades that were nearly identical to the original broken ones. I greatly appreciate his talent and his willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the project met my expections. These slumped shades have a ribbed texture on the front and a pebble texture on the inside. They have been manipulated in the kiln to give them a natural wind-blown look, and sandblasted to give a satin finish.
