Here I have sculpted, morticed and tenoned, glued and screwed together from basswood, my latest "Labor of Hercules", Snowy Owl Sculpture, with a hand sculpted oval base of black walnut, the same as used on the tree itself, with sculpted snow drifts at the base also.
Hundreds of hours of construction and research getting the markings correct, some orderly, other disorderly as in real life.
