Solid 14K gold earrings, slightly domed, and featuring a unique "wavy" surface texture on the front.
The unique surface texture is the result of an experiment with the metal reticulation process where metal is heated until it begins to melt. The end result of that process is this wavy, leather-like texture which I've now cast in solid 14K yellow gold.
A new addition to my Fine Jewelry line created in response to a client's comment that she was extremely sensitive to the weight of earrings.
These are lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The edge of the earrings is about 1 mm wide (that's about the same as a stack of 2 playing cards or 5 sheets of paper) The raised texture will make it wider in some spots.
The roundish, domed, disk measures just over 1/2 an inch, or about 15 mm in diameter. See the last picture). Hand made 14K gold ear wire. 4th picture shows the back of the earrings.
Also available in 14K rose gold or silver.
