Solid Bronze Cufflinks With Coat Of Arms Heraldic Family Crest Motif Custom

Bronze Cuff links Cufflinks Custom Heraldic Crest

EXAMPLE OF CUSTOM ORDER SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT IS POSSIBLE

Sometimes you need something really out of the ordinary. So far out that the only way to get there is to have it custom made!

These cufflinks were a commission for a client who her family crest executed as a cufflink design. I took the artwork and I made a custom stamp which I used to create a bas-relief design to metal clay. Then the cufflink blanks were dried, sanded and shaped, fired at very high temp in a kiln (where the metal particles in the clay fused into solid bronze.

Solid bronze cufflink backs were soldered (not glued) to the cufflink face. The set was then tumbler and hand polished, oxidized to bring out the design and texture of the bronze, then hand polished again and protected with a tarnish retarding coat of Renaissance wax.

The stamp making process requires black and white line art in order to create the stamp. Contact me and I will be glad to take a look at your family crest and see how we can make it work. The cost for art and stamp making runs from about 50 to 150 dollars depending on how much adaptation needs to be made. This is a one time charge, as the stamp is reusable. The cufflinks themselves are 80.00 a pair in bronzes, 195.00 in sterling silver. In addition, I can make you a lovely key fob in solid bronze (65.00) or sterling silver (175.00)from the same stamp! https://www.custommade.com/solid-bronze-monogrammed-keychain-fob-with-solid-b/by/jennybuttons/

The last picture gives you an example of what I start with - I made sure to keep the adorable dolphins in the large example, and then simplified the ermine tails to work in the small space of a cufflink.

These are wonderful for men or women of any age. They would also make a terrific groomsman's gift for your wedding party. Or a special gift to the lucky groom himself.

(and because bronze is the traditional material for eighth anniversary gifts, they would make a wonderful surprise for your sweetie eight years later if he didn't get a pair to wear your wedding )

Since these are completely custom made, please allow three weeks for production.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE INITIALS OR A DATE ON THE BACK, THAT IS AVAILABLE AS AN OPTION (20.00 ADDITIONAL). SEE LAST PHOTO.
