Here is a pic of an entryway with side lites and a transom. We designed this for maximum glass exposure using a Frank Lloyd Wright type theme. We used a combination of antique, Uroborus (gold, pink, streaky), and irridised ripple glass to get some of the fluxuating colors. The Uroborus glass changes from green to pink depending on how the light hits it.
The client wanted this open look because the lake is viewable through the glass while standing on the porch in front of the entryway.
The door is solid Mahogany one piece style and rail constructed, with all of the jambs and moldings stained and sealed with our famous 8 cotes of ploy. The glass panels are all in Insulated units for safety and protection.
