Solid Maple And Walnut Wooden Book Press
This piece was originally created as a present for my mother. She is an avid card maker and was tired of using old weights to press the cards. Considering the high costs of wooden book presses I attempted to make a cheaper, good looking, and extremely functional press for her. This is the result. The top and bottom are solid Maple and the center is solid Walnut with a 9in press screw. The working area on this one is 8inx8inx8in, but can be made to suit different sizes.
