This massive live-edge solid slab table was fabricated from four giant slabs of Black Oak gleaned from a local tree that fell over after a storm. The 36" diameter trunk was sawn into 2 1/2" thick slabs, which were then kiln and air dried for two years. This truly one-of-a-kind table was designed and fabricated using CAD software and CNC milling equipment. The table is designed to accommodate wood movement and is over 7' in diameter, providing seating for up to 12 people. The matching solid-wood live-edge lazy susan gives each diner easy access to all the fixin's!
My favorite part of the table is that when viewed from above, the grain pattern simulates the grain of a tree trunk. Combined with the live edge all the way around, it makes the entire table emulate a massive ancient tree trunk rising out of the ground.
Dimensions: 85" diameter, 30" to table top, 32" overall height.
