This neck ornament is made of sterling silver. On each end are four pieces of water cast sterling silver that have been constructed together. They are attached by thick sterling silver wire constructed in a 'torque' shape. It slides comfortably around the neck from the back and naturally rests above and in front of the right shoulder. It has been patinated with sterling silver, which will fade and slowly oxidize over time. The freshwater pear has been epoxied into place. The beryl was purchased exactly as it is and it is held where it is with the tension of the silver. In total, it is 9 inches long x 6 inches wide x 3 inches tall.
