Fused glass construction made "user friendly" by mounting in a frame.
The theme is "Day of the Dead", one of my favorites. In addition to the fused elements (which are the majority), there are stained glass flowers at the bottom of the piece.
The fused and stained glass pieces are permanently mounted to a background glass that is 1/4" tempered gray. This provides the structural stability to support the weight of the art glass pieces.
Metal coatings and patina have been applied to the elaborate wooden frame; two coats of UV wax "seal the deal".
