This is a great mix of welded steel and reclaimed wood.
The top is made from highly figured, reclaimed Walnut and goes well in any decor. The base is made from steel square tube and ground flat on the sides.
The finish is a chocolate brown sprayed shellac. One of my favorites with 5 coats of sprayed, clear enamel and two costs of hand rubbed paste wax. The metal base is acid etched for a slate black color with some color variations that will deepen with time, then coated with 5 coats of clear enamel.
This example is 42 inches round and 18 inches high. As always the wood, finish and dimension are up to you. I can make it in reclaimed oak, walnut, pine or cherry with you choice of finish.
Thanks for your consideration. Questions are always welcome.
