Southern Pennsylvania Low-Back Windsor Settee- 1770-1780

Our Windsor Bench's arm and backrest assembly is crafted of native Maine Oak. It's encircled by 24 spokeshaved Oak spindles, each one carefully hand wedged. The hand turned legs and stretcher assembly are made of native Maine Maple; it's bottom is a single 2" think wide pine plank.
This handsome bench stands 28" tall, 16" deep and it's a generous 4' long. Comfortable and roomy, it seats two people with lots of room to spare, or three persons who like each other an awful lot.
You'll be proud to own this rugged multi-functional bench finished in traditional black milk paint, lightly rubbed and distressed, then hand rubbed again with beeswax and citrus oil.
