Spalted Maple Wooden Egg Kaleidoscope With Stand
Wooden Kaleidoscope Egg is made from spalted Maple with a decorative gold stand. Looking through the eyepiece and turning the egg gives you an ever changing colorful image.
Handcrafted with great care on my lathe, by me to be a unique creation. The specific shape of the body was determined by my own imagination. Each egg is sanded and polished, then I apply a food safe Walnut Oil and Beeswax finish that I make in my shop. The result is a polished surface, safe for children to handle and eco-friendly.
Egg itself is approximately 2.5" in length. With the stand the kaleidoscope is approximately 4.5" tall.
