"Decaying" Sparrow Taxidermy/Skeleton

This piece was designed exclusively for the Gothic Renaissance boutique in New York City, however, it is being included here to show my work with skeletal art. This sparrow has been "overgrown" with natural moss, and is laid to rest atop the open pages in a vintage copy of "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" a book that deals with the superstitions surrounding a dead albatross (a majestic bird, of whom I would like to think is related to this little fellow.) Although it looks decayed, the piece is completely sterile, and has the subtle earthy scent of moss and cedar oil. This piece cannot be copied exactly, however, we can work together on traditional or fantasy based skeleton or taxidermy art customized to your delight!
