The finished product was truly a work of art. Michelle was patient, courteous, easy to talk with, flexible, without drama, artistic and a true craftspeople. My wife and I could not be happier with the finished transom piece which was 5' long and 12" high.
The large piece of glass was carefully prepared for shipping and travelled across country without a scratch. Thank you Michelle.
This panel was commissioned by the Islamic Congregation of North New Jersey to be installed in a second story window of a new mosque.
The design is composed of a central area featuring the dome of a mosque and a minaret leading the eye to the crescent moon and star. This area is encompassed in several expanding border designs that reinforce the architectural feel of the piece. The border designs were inspired by Islamic tile and textile motifs.
The panel is 86" x 66" and is installed in front of a tempered glass window. The panel is soldered to a grid of re-bar for strength and longevity and is framed in mahogany.
