Vince was wonderful, in a word! He was easy to talk with, kept me informed with pictures of each step of this project. He cares. Wanted to know the 'story', which helps him in his craft, and it shows. I saw the final picture of this sun catcher before he sent it, but once I received it, I couldn't believe how PERFECT it is! This is a custom stained glass window of Yosemite's Half Dome. Pattern is based on a photo from Ansel Adams. This window originally had clear glass in it and I replaced it with the stained glass you see here.
There are two eye bolts to hang the piece from the top.
I did repaint the frame but it still has some of that antique look to it. This adds to the antique look of the piece.
The frame size is 29 3/4" X 24". The little pieces that drop down at the bottom of the frame add another 3" to make it 29 3/4" X 27.
