I searched for months for an oversized (7") newel post emulating the design and workmanship of 100 years ago for our farmhouse. I found Bill Pinion's site and can only say the whole experience of working with Bill has been delightful from start to finish. Top notch craftsmanship, first class professionalism.
This Starting Newel is a massive 10 inch in diameter with an octagonal base. The customer found the original in an antique home and sent me a picture to duplicate it
