Steel Tree Table Base With Juniper Slab Top
Made with mild steel, the base was inspired by reversing the rolls of materials. As wood is commonly a base for tables, and the top is typically a naturally flat material.
Meant to rust a little and have a natural appearance, the metal is unfinished and the Juniper slab is lightly coated with teak oil, to be refinished once per season.
Had this been an inside table I would've opted for a clear coat on the base and 2 part epoxy on the top.
The actual table set included 6 unique stools matching the tree theme. The approx. cost reflects the (7) piece set.
