This is a mild steel trellis. Left unfinished, it's meant to lightly rust. Power has been run through the structure to accommodate a ceiling fan, without any wires showing.

The posts were poured in 24" sonotubes, leaving 12" at the top for potting soil and escape holes for roots. There is now a wisteria growing up all 4 posts.

So the goal here was to have no showing wires, or planters. The fan and plants just organically start and end on the structure.
