These are not silver plated, but made of solid silver through and through. You will have to carefully name a descendant so they will have the same monogram. But I imagine that, kind of like owning grandmother's silver flatware, no one really quibbles about an ancestor's initials. ; )

Made a little differently than my other monogrammed buttons. I will create a stamp which makes a gorgeous deep imprint of your initials. After polishing, the letters will be darkened for maximum contrast and impact.
