The buckle motif as we know it today originated during the early Victorian era, when it was given as a token of endearment or worn as a mourning or memory ring, the latter often contained a small lock of the loved one's hair.
With the inspiration of this contexts comes the first piece of my 10th collection of buckle inspired jewelry. Some pieces are clean like the modernist movement and some pieces are Victorian to Art Nouveau inspired with etchings and designs.
This first piece is a sterling silver buckle cuff bracelet...
Measures 3/4' on the bracelet to 1 1/4' wide where the buckle overlaps the cuff...
Has a internal diameter of 2 1/2' and is completely adjustable...
Available polished like the last photo, antiqued like in the first four pictures, or satin not shown.
Perfect for a man or a woman!
All Alberto Juan jewelry comes in a protective Velvet black bag also shown in some listings.
