Stickley Inspired Coffee Table
What a project to build. Theres a little story behind this coffee table. I had been itching to make a coffee table for quite some time, so i started drawing and i couldn't quite figure out what design i wanted to go with. So one day i took a trip to the "Stickley" Museum. WOW! i was so inspired by his furniture and designs that i went home and started drawing, this is what i came up with. I wanted something contemporary but with the stickley feel. Its made out of knotty Alder with eastern red cedar drawers. And the finish is 20 coats of hand rubbed oil based finish (semi).
