Remember how much fun you used to have climbing trees and swinging in a tire swing. Those lazy days of summer, and flying kites. This will remind you to relax and take it easy and think about those carefree times.

The tree is about 8 1/2" tall and 10" wide. It is completely outlined with 16 gage copper wire encased in the solder, for stability. The tire swing is made of dark purple glass and is attached with black chain. The kite, stuck in the tree, is made from yellow opaque glass and stands out in 3D, on a piece of copper wire, which lets it flutter with the breeze. The "leaves of the tree are treated with black patina, while the solder on the trunk is a lustrous copper.

You can hang this in your window, by the black chain, or It's perfectly safe to hang it outside.

This piece is made in the Tiffany style, with hand cut glass, copper foil and solder.
It is polished and waxed to a rich patina.
