'Ventus' Latin for 'wind' is an abstract metal wall sculpture inspired by elements of autumn. Hand made by the artist Ventus was fabricated from a variety of different diameter tubular steel and bar stock. Forged, bent and welded then sanded and brushed to a smooth and tactile finish giving the piece a more cast appearance. Darkened with a chemical patina, the piece has many undertones and highlights similar to those found in some stones and is not just one solid color often found with painted pieces.
