Table Base For A Wood Slab
I created this base for a customer who had a very unique piece of wood..the challenge was getting the piece of wood to sit flat because the bottom side of the wood was very irregular. The solution was to raise the slab above the frame to give it a floating appearance. The materials used are 3/4" and 1/2" solid square bar textured and sanded to bring out highlights and sealed with a satin clear finish.
