Teak Medicine cabinet with sperm whale inlay.


The inlay was done with a laser engraver/cutter that does the shading and then cuts out the final inlay. Then the same laser does the cut out into the panel where the whale will be inlayed to. This is my first attempt at this process, and it worked out very well.

The nautical theme is continued onto the door pull which is bronze and engraved with sailboats.

The interior shelves are spanish cedar, which adds an aromatic aspect to the piece, and a pleasant scent every time the cabinet is open and closed.
