The 00 Nouveau guitar took two years from start to finish. I supplied the Santa Cruz Guitar Company with my choice set of Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides. The project was initiated as an homage to the Art Nouveau period of the early 20th Century. Michael Coy painted the top in the style of John Waterhouse. The bridge is fossilized mastodon tusk, and the pins are cast silver with emeralds in the tips. A silver spiderweb soundhole screen is removable.
The instrument is also SCGC's 10,000th guitar as well as their 30th anniversary guitar.
