The Braxtonian Lantern Wall Sconce
This is an accent wall sconce, not intended for general illumination. In a dark, shadowy room, a star field is displayed upon the ceiling above the lamp.
This lamp is named after my son Braxton.
This light fixture hangs on the wall, and the lantern cylinder is illuminated while slowly rotating. It was specifically designed to be viewed from a 3/4 angle (from where one is typically seated within a room).
The round brass and mahogany knob at the top of the sculpture is the on/off switch. Other than the motor, rotary switches, and some standard fittings, every part is hand-made. Also, as these lights are handmade, there is typically some design variation from piece to piece.
The sconce is around 28 inches tall and projects some 14 inches away from the wall. It can be disassembled in its entirety with a screwdriver.
TAKE NOTICE: If a commission is placed for a Braxtonian Lantern, you will receive a piece similar to the one in the above photos: it will not be exactly the same. As all my pieces are hand-made, the final products end up slightly different from lamp to lamp.

NOTE: My pieces are made to order. The 3-4 week shipping time is an estimate: it can and has been much longer, depending upon my order work load. Contact me for a more accurate build schedule.
