This handrail went into an Arts and Crafts style house in Luray, VA. It was designed after the "perfect handle" style screwdriver which combined wood and steel to make a very ergonomic, stylish, and durable tool. The rail was made from white pine and steel bar stock. The brackets were hand forged from 1/4" steel plate, and the end scrolls were hand forged from 1" steel squares. The steel was finished with gun bluing and the wood was sealed with wood oil. Price included installation.
