They Come To Snuff The Rooster -- Copper Weathervane By David Smith

This is how a rooster weathervane should be done. Nice gothic lines, lots of furious and complicated angles, and razor-sharp spines and filigrees that will punish the most wicked north wind.

Sculpted in pure 16-ounce copper with silver, the rooster measures 26 inches from beak to wing tip; 18.5 inches from top of comb to foot. Exquisitely detailed, right down to skin texture and muscle striations. Beautiful natural copper patina with rainbow sheen.

All my weathervanes are meticulously sculpted by hand using techniques developed by myself as well as traditional Old World metalsmithing techniques. I do not use molds, stamps or machines.

Proudly display your cock on a roof, cupola, barn, or gazebo as a weathervane/architectural element; in a garden, or as commercial signage; would also be an elegant way to top off a gated entrance. Of course, it can also be displayed indoors as fine art sculpture.
